Persimmon Rose Petal Vase by Alex Krueger

Warm burnt-orange glass glows almost from within, as though lit by late-afternoon sun. A single clear petal hooks over the tilted lip and slides down the neck, while another drapes across the shoulder in a loose, wave-like ribbon. Fainter petal outlines are pressed into the lower body, and its asymmetric silhouette gives it a quiet sense of motion. It is the warmest piece in the collection, with a color that recalls autumn leaves and the moment just before a bloom fades.
